Note: The only exception to this is if you voluntarily choose to enable third-party cookies for embedded videos on our website (see Section 6).

2. App / Plug-in Privacy & Mobile Storefronts

  • Local Storage Only: Our apps and plug-ins have been developed within the JUCE Framework under an 'Indie License'. Audio loaded into the software (via the audio input signal or by manually loading an audio file) may be saved internally as files directly on your user device.

  • User Control: The user has absolute control over any user-generated preset or audio file saved internally to the app/plug-in, including the right to delete any user-generated files.

  • No Access / No Cloud Syncing: DELTA-V Audio does not have access to, nor do we store, any of your user-generated data or local audio files. Our mobile applications do not utilize background tracking, location services, cloud syncing, or cross-app advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google's Advertising ID). All application states and audio configurations remain entirely isolated to your local device.

  • On-Device Permissions: Our application may require permission to access your device's Microphone and Storage.

    • Microphone: Used exclusively to enable live audio recording within the app. Audio processing occurs entirely locally and only activates when the user chooses to do so. We do not collect, stream, or store your audio transmissions on any external servers.

    • Storage: Used solely to save and retrieve audio or preset files directly on your device. We do not access, collect, or read any files stored on your device.

3. Data Provided Voluntarily (Support Emails & TestFlight Beta Testing)

  • Support Emails: The only personal data we routinely receive is information you choose to provide voluntarily when you contact our support team. We process this data based on our legitimate interests to assist you, answer your technical questions, and resolve your software issues. These emails are stored securely using industry-standard access controls. We will always honour a request to delete your support email thread at any time.

  • Beta Testers (App Store Platforms): If you voluntarily participate in our beta testing programs via Apple TestFlight or the Google Play Console, these platform operators may share certain feedback and diagnostic data with us. This can include system statistics, device models, operating system versions, and crash logs to help us diagnose bugs. Depending on the platform, your voluntary text feedback or public beta reviews may be linked to your platform profile. We process this data under our legitimate interests to fix technical issues, stabilize our software, and improve development. This data is used exclusively by us and is not shared by us with third parties. 4. App Purchases, Financial Data, and Third-Party Marketplaces

Our software is sold, distributed, and licensed through authorized third-party marketplaces acting as the Merchant of Record on our behalf: Tracktion Software Corporation (for desktop/VST versions), the Apple App Store (for iOS versions), and the Google Play Store (for Android versions).

Clicking a link to purchase or download our software directs you to these secure platform environments, and your transactions are entirely subject to their respective policies (including the Tracktion Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy, and Google Privacy Policy). Because these platforms serve a global customer base, your checkout data will be processed by them. in accordance with their own regional and international data handling practices. Please note that these are entirely independent entities; we do not control, have access to, or assume any responsibility or liability for how these third-party platforms process your personal or financial data.

  • No Financial Access: DELTA-V Audio does not collect, process, or have any access to your credit card details, payment methods or billing addresses.

  • Data Minimization: Any regular financial, sales, or commission reporting for accounting purposes is fully anonymized and aggregated. We request that our third-party sellers do not include customer names or personal data in commission reports or administrative statements.

  • We receive anonymized sales and financial reports from our third-party marketplaces for business accounting. We do not require or actively collect customer personal data through these reports. If a third-party marketplace accidentally includes identifiable customer details, our policy is to remove this data within a reasonable timeframe as part of our commitment to data minimization.

5. Website Hosting & Fonts

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. To securely run, protect, and improve its platform services, Squarespace automatically collects necessary personal data when you visit this website to securely run, protect, and improve its platform services. This includes information about your browser, network, device, your IP address, and web pages you visited prior to coming to this website. We do not control or access this data, nor do we assume responsibility for Squarespace’s independent platform operations. To properly display this site, we use font files from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. The servers where these font files are stored naturally receive basic technical information about your device and IP address to enable the file transmission.

6. Embedded Videos, External Links, and Cookies

Once you leave our environment, those external platforms operate entirely under their own data privacy policies. We do not accept any liability for third-party websites.

7. Data Deletion & Retention Policy

Because we operate a "No Data Collected" framework, we do not host user accounts, cloud databases, or customer profiles that can be deleted. However, to fully comply with Apple and Google Play developer requirements regarding your data control:

  • Support Data: If you wish to have your support email history, correspondence, or diagnostics permanently erased from our secure support inbox, please email your request to our contact address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will permanently purge the thread.

  • Local Data and Deletion for iOS and Android app: Our app operates locally on your device. We do not track, collect, access, or store any of your data, custom presets, or audio fragments on external servers.

    • Internal App Data: Uninstalling the application from your device will automatically delete the application's internal isolated local sandbox storage (including temporary caches and app settings).

    • User-Exported Files: Any files, audio tracks, or projects you have explicitly exported or saved to your device's shared folders (such as the iOS Files app or Android public directories) are owned by you and will remain on your device until you manually delete them.

  • Local Data and Deletion for desktop plug-in: Our plug-in operates locally on your device. We do not track, collect, access, or store any of your data, custom presets, or audio fragments on external servers. Files such as license files, audio files or preset files may remain on your local storage after uninstalling the plug-in. It is the user’s responsibility to delete any remaining files

8. Your Rights & Contact Us

Mark Watt trading as Delta-V Audio, is the data controller for any personal information processed via this website, our support channels, or our Apple/google beta testing programs. Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, update, or request the permanent deletion of any support data or beta feedback you have shared with us, or withdraw your video cookie consent at any time.
